of course its not safe to ride on the side like that or on top and it seems really hard to hold on but I looked at the train and thought that it seems so much safer to surf in the back of it! there’s a place to stand, and u wont hit a wall or anything and there are even handles.
i’d do that if it wasnt embarrassing xD

Hi Monique,
This street fair only existed on the day that I posted it. There are many of these street fairs from spring to fall throughout Manhattan and these general ones are all exactly the same. I believe they exist every weekend during the summer. Although I haven’t found 1 website that lists every single one. There are also special street fairs such as the San Gennaro Festival that’s coming up soon. Here is a link that does list a number of them: http://www.nycstreetfairs.com/graphics/2011WebSchedule.pdf
